We have continued the tradition of camping at the Summerland Rodeo Grounds. There have been some changes, but more or less everything is the same.

Please note that there are indeed a few rules to follow while attending Giants Head Freeride.

While at the campsite

NO

  • Riding pit bikes or E-Bikes at the rodeo grounds.
  • Fires
  • Defecating outside of dedicated facilites
  • Hanging hammocks on the bleachers of the Rodeo Grounds grandstands
  • Glass or golf balls in the Rodeo Grounds riding ring.

While at Giants Head Mountain Park

NO

  • Esk8s or motorized equipment of any kind.
  • Throwing pinecones
  • Embarking on, disembarking from, or touching the U-Haul while it is moving.
  • Riding on the side of a U-Haul without a helmet.
  • Throwing pinecones.
  • Drinking alcohol in public parks.
  • Stepping on the sensitive grass.
  • Throwing pinecones.
  • Hanging hammocks on trees

Course Map

Every corner has a meaning at Giants Head, Where they come from is mostly speculation, names have changed here and there, but for the most part the course has stayed the same, until last year. They've widened the road in most of the corners, adding to the inside line.
